‘Rick and Morty’ Co-Creator Justin Roiland Feels Bad for the McDonald’s Szechuan Sauce Fiasco

‘Rick and Morty’ Co-Creator Sorry ‘Bout the Szechuan Sauce … We Had No Idea!

EXCLUSIVE

The guy who co-created Adult Swim’s cult hit show, “Rick and Morty,” wants to apologize for making McDonald’s Szechuan sauce a thing again. Hear him out.

We got Justin Roiland — who also voices Rick and Morty — at LAX and asked what he thought about Mickey D’s deciding to bring back the infamous dipping sauce, partly due to him writing it into his show. It caused HUGE customer lines … and Justin’s got some regrets, for sure.

For one, he feels badly for McDonald’s workers who got raked over the coals by rabid customers.

Bonus fun: Justin told us how he nailed the perfect level of drunkenness to play the mad scientist on his show. Cheers to that, bud.

‘Westworld’ Actor Zahn McClarnon Was Dazed Calling 911 After Head Injury

‘Westworld’ Actor’s 911 Call Completely Dazed and Out of Breath … From Head Injury

EXCLUSIVE

The actor who sustained a serious head injury that put the brakes on production for “Westworld” called 911 himself … and sounded like he was about to pass out.

TMZ has obtained the audio of Zahn McClarnon‘s call for help, which he placed on his own after he fell in his home and hit his head a couple weeks ago.

As you can tell, Zahn’s clearly out of it during the convo with an operator. He comes off as confused when asked what apartment number he’s in, but somehow manages to get out all relevant info needed for paramedics.

As we reported … Zahn’s injury temporarily halted production of season 2 of the HBO hit series, which was set to air in 2018.

The good news now … HBO says filming has fully resumed.

Louis C.K.’s Former Manager Dave Becky Apologizes for ‘Cover-Up’

Louis C.K.’s Former Manager Dave Becky Apologizes for ‘Cover-Up’

Louis C.K.’s Ex-Manager I Was Covering for Cheating … Not Sexual Misconduct!!!

Breaking News

Louis C.K.‘s longtime, and now ex-manager, Dave Becky, is copping to his part in — as he puts it — a “perceived cover-up” of the comedian’s sexual misconduct.

Becky issued an apology, admitting he blew off the accuser’s stories when he first heard of them — and assumed the real issue at hand was C.K.’s infidelity … and not sexual harassment.

He states, “I profoundly regret and am deeply sorry for not listening to and not understanding what happened to Dana and Julia. If I had, I would have taken this event as seriously as it deserved to be, and I would have confronted Louis, which would have been the right thing to do.”

He goes on to say, “Albeit enormously embarrassing, in no way did I interpret the interaction as threatening or non-consensual. I misperceived the casual way the story was portrayed to me.”

Becky says, in light of everything now, he understands that his response “was perceived as a threat to cover-up sexual misconduct.”

Becky insists his misinterpretation came from a place of naivete and privilege, and he has vowed to do better.

“I am going to take time to reflect on this, to educate myself daily, and to strive towards a more enlightened path. I want to ensure that all voices around me are heard, and that everyone is treated respectfully and empathetically. More than anything, I want to create an environment that is a better, safer and fairer place.”

There’s a push for Becky’s other huge clients — such as Amy Poehler and Aziz Ansari — to drop him.

‘Veronica Mars’ Actor Brad Bufanda 911 Call … Possible Shot Fired

EXCLUSIVE

Veronica Mars” actor Brad Bufanda hit the sidewalk so loudly when he jumped to his death at least one 911 caller reported it as a gunshot.

TMZ broke the story … Bufanda committed suicide in L.A. earlier this month. The person who called 911 lived nearby and asked if police had any other reports of shots fired. It seems the caller figured out what really happened by the end of the call … because they tell the operator the height of the building from which Bufanda jumped.

As we previously reported … although a suicide note was also found at the scene, his manager told TMZ his sudden death was an absolute shock since he didn’t struggle with substance abuse or any known emotional problems.

Bufanda was 34.

Bijou Phillips Apologizes to ‘Mean Girls’ Star Over Gay Shaming

EXCLUSIVE

Bijou Phillips is apologizing to a “Mean Girls” star for bullying him over his sexuality.

Actor Daniel Franzese went after Bijou recently, claiming, “She body shamed me and ridiculed me about my sexuality and physically assaulted me” on the set of the 2001 movie, “Bully.”

He says she loudly and repeatedly asked him in front of others if he was gay, and when he said he was bi, she followed up the next day by screaming, “Oh look! The Bi guy is here!” He says she, on a different occasion, grabbed his nipple and “twisted it hard through my shirt and laughed,” and at one point during filming kicked him in the head so hard he still is not sure if he had a concussion.

Bijou tells TMZ, “I want to write to address what Daniel has said. I don’t remember that time well, those years are a blur. I was a teenager and reckless in my behavior. I know Daniel to be a trustworthy and honest person, and to find out through social media that I was not the friend I thought I was to him made me so sad.”

Bijou goes on … “I am so mortified by this behavior and have contacted Daniel and apologized to him privately. I am not and never have been homophobic. I have nothing but love for the LGBTQ community and Daniel.”

Daniel tweeted Sunday night that he has received and accepted her apology.

Christopher Plummer Addresses Replacing Kevin Spacey in ‘All the Money in the World’

Christopher Plummer No Regrets Taking Kevin Spacey’s Role

EXCLUSIVE

The guy replacing Kevin Spacey in a movie that’s supposed to be released in about a month is surprisingly at ease about pulling off an unprecedented cinematic move.

We got Christopher Plummer Sunday in NYC where he was attending the premiere of one of his own upcoming flicks, and asked if it was a difficult decision to accept the role in Ridley Scott‘s “All the Money in the World,” after Spacey got the ax last week

From the way Chris responds, it doesn’t sound like he has any qualms about taking the gig away, even though he was mum on reaching out to the beleaguered actor.

As for that looming release date of December 22 — Chris might as well have quoted OutKast … ain’t no thang.
